Ceramic Trumpetfish on Stand

With its extraordinarily long, slender body and tubular snout, the trumpet fish has one of the most distinctive silhouettes in the ocean.

Our ceramic interpretation captures that unusual form in vivid colour, with raised dorsal spines, intricate hand-painted markings and a raku-fired glaze that reveals a beautiful crackled pattern across the surface. The variations in colour, texture and finish give each piece the individual qualities of handmade ceramic.

Measuring 50 cm in length and mounted on a black metal stand, it's a striking example of how the natural world continues to inspire art.
